Summer Baby Sleepwear

With summer upon us and the temperature rising, this is a great time to bring up the topic of baby sleepwear.

It can be difficult to figure out what your baby should wear to sleep as the seasons change. You don’t want them to be too hot, yet you don’t want them to be too cold. The stress of it all can keep you up at night. Here is a great informative chart describing what you should put your baby in based on the temperature of the room.

TOG?

When deciding what type of sleep sack to buy for your kiddo, you might have come across the acronym TOG. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Guide. This basically means the amount of warmth a sleep sack provides. The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric and the less body heat the sleep sack retains. The higher the TOG rating, the thicker and warmer the fabric is, keeping in more body heat.
